About The Client
The client behind Esma3 Ketab is Mr. Khalid Al Fahham, who is passionate about books of all kinds. He realized that the time has come (after a delay of more than thirty years of the first countries in the world) for the production of the Arab Book Audio commercially and is not limited only to the blind services.
There were many arab attempts to enter into this area and still, but unfortunately did not take the side of professionalism and committed limitations and hobby free sales, which would, in our view of the evolution of these important future industry, so we took the lead in "Hear the book" and decided to fight the battle in all its details and handicaps and cost of whatever the results were.
The Idea Behind The Project
Paper book suffers from slow manufacturing process starting from acceptance and coordination then correction and hyperbole printing and lack of printing presses and the greed of some publishers and alienated many of the readers and the exploitation of libraries ... etc, and if we add all of this changed the style and living conditions as well as widespread smart phone and tablet devices. That was the motivation behind the idea of this project.
Sarah El Badry

Working on Esma3 Ketaab was very interesting to me. I gained a lot of experience during the project. The most challenging part was hosting and delivering audio books securely, we used different approaches to secure the contents on both the server side and through the mobile app.
